With over 4,000 songs to his credit, Smokey Robinson is a true music legend. He started his journey as frontman for The Miracles. The Miracles went on to dominate R&B music throughout the ’60s. Robinson was also chief songwriter for Motown Records, writing hits for other artists, including Marvin Gaye, Mary Wells and The Temptations. He later turned to an amazing solo career where he continued his tradition of hit-making, and won a Grammy® in 1988. The Rock & Roll Hall of Famer continues to keep the Motown sound alive for a new generation of fans and for baby boomers who grew up listening to his smooth, unmistakable vocals.
