Founded by American Express in 2010, Small Business Saturday® celebrates small businesses that support our neighborhoods and is held every year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Small Business Saturday has been embraced as part of the holiday shopping tradition as each year shoppers, businesses and public officials come together to Shop Small® and show their hometown pride.

Waukegan Main Street understands the important contributions small businesses make to our communities.  We, along with sponsor NorState Bank, are pleased to host events in conjunction with Small Business Saturday in our Main Street District. On November 26th starting at 8am and throughout the day, our downtown businesses as well as the greater Waukegan area will be open for business and waiting for you!
