It's Never Been So Easy!

Just like other Main Street organizations across the country, Waukegan Main Street is organized around the same four points of the Main Street approach. That means that we operate by way of four standing committees: organization, promotion, design, and economic development.  If you’re interested in volunteering with Main Street it’s never been so easy because each one of these committees is actively looking for new members.  Are you an Instagram celebrity?  Maybe you’d like to join promotions.  Are you interested in downtown architecture or improving the look of downtown?  Maybe you’d like to join design.  Are you interested in bringing new businesses to downtown?  You’re perfect for economic development! 

Of course, you don’t have to join a committee to be a volunteer.  Maybe you’d like to become a downtown ambassador or help with ArtWauk or clean up the streets?  We’re actively looking for folks to volunteer in all of these roles and more!  If you’re interested in getting involved and joining the Main Street movement let us know!    Reach out today!
