GERARDO GORDILLO was born, raised, and currently living in Waukegan. Even though they're banned from the Facebook group with the same name. Since then they have been finding places to trust, and then try to trust it for a while. This has led them into various galleries, basements, studios, theatres, and ravines. Among pulling everything out of their mentors, they hope their colleagues to pull everything out of them. What started off as booking DIY shows in a small town bakery has lead to the discovery that people value community. They believe that the emptiness of Waukegan does us a favor, as it allows us to fill the space with anything we can imagine. They're an elected official with an interest in arts and culture. As an outsider artist with a degree in art history, they are excited to rejuvenate the downtown area with businesses that Waukegan wants.

ADAM MCCORMACK was born and raised in our very own Waukegan IL. He attended Waukegan public schools his whole educational career. He’s now the owner of McCormack Landscaping. He is grateful for his clientele and everyone who has supported it all since the beginning. Meeting new people within the community, Adam has helped with a community garden with sculptures made by a Waukegan native artist, along with some other community members, and now is incredibly interested in improving aspects of our continuously growing city and wants to use his expertise of landscape maintenance and design, as well as support others with their ideas to keep improving Waukegan, creating more smiles, thinking of more ways for people to enjoy themselves, and their friends and family. Adam strives to help others, any way he can!

JAY STEPHEN I grew up In Humboldt Park in Chicago and moved here in 1996. I started out in Radio and Television and attended Illinois Institute of Technology where I also landed a job as a video Producer and Technical Director. Being connected with video and editing I decided that capturing and manipulating video was something I really liked. Through promotion in the early 90’s I ended up as corporate video Producer and that is where I ended up moving to Waukegan. I fell in love with the Art and culture in this town and immediately felt at home. Through my corporate career I ended up moving into still photography and worked with the digital technology at its infancy in the 90’s. Utilizing my marketing and technical skills I have volunteered my experience into helping the growth of the Waukegan Art scene with the hope of spurring growth in our downtown businesses and economy. Now that I am part of the Main Street Organization during this difficult time I hope to assist in both the known challenges as well as the unforeseen that Waukegan and our downtown face going forward.
